Add some fun to the neighborhood and park this '65 VW bus tent in your yard
Summer's tent becomes an outdoor room that's campy fun for every season. Park this '65 VW bus tent in your yard. While it's a cozy summer reading nook, party or guest room, bug-free haven for food all summer long, it can be the cleverest Christmas decoration on the block in November and December. Any time of year, it's one cool conversation piece! (Or...you can always go camping in it.)
Set up just the waterproof, fire-resistant outer "VW" shell for entertaining, or clip on the inner tent for camping or when you have overnight guests. It features a built-in floor, ventilated screen door and a zip-up partition that divides two areas that sleep 4. Spacious and tall enough to stand inside, this tent has a metal frame with fiberglass poles, and stakes and guy ropes to keep it stable in the wind. Includes storage case. Outer shell is durable polyester.
13'L x 5'W x 6'H.

Re: Volkswagen Camper Tent
No, did not even think of the teepee design. Last year the wind got to the one I had set up in the yard and ripped the area around the tie-out straps. That put a damper on that project.
Learning the ins-n-out of being a campground host was time consuming. On my weeks off I wanted to travel around and see the sights, visit different Corps of Engineer campgrounds to see if any were nicer than the one I was at. I may look into campgrounds around the Austin, TX area for this fall migration
Looking for a warmer location
