Hi there,

Here's a rough idea of stove using a screw and a little bottle:

The cycle :
The flame heats the screw.
The heat is transmitted down in the alcohol that vaporizes.
The vapors burn and heat the screw
...

How do you start the stove? Do you hold a match/lighter to the screw to start the process?

Yeah, first hold the lighter to the screw, then pour alcohol on it and light. :shock:
I must say that I had to spend quite a long time heating the screw... it's really just an idea. It would need a lot of optimization.

Can you adjust the flame by closing the screw?

Be very carefull with bottles of vapor and the size of holes you use for jets. Too big a hole might make the bottle blow up.
