Re: Companion burner for the Bushbuddy stove
Good news..............these burners are now available in my stove store.
See the updated video to include what the burner looks like in the Woodgaz stove.

I did a test burn today with 1 ounce of fuel and had good results. It burned for 15 min. It lit easily with matches in 20 degree air temps.

I love the starlyte pro! Or is it the Red Giant? Whatever you call it, I love it. Especially the way it can be integrated with the woodgaz stove (which I still have to try to make one or just buy one to check it out.)

It would be easy to make a pot support for the pro red giant. Use a push pin to make the holes and use wire from the hardware store. I may make some with the stainless support.russb wrote:I love the starlyte pro! Or is it the Red Giant? Whatever you call it, I love it. I'm going to use the Woodgaz today inside my base camp Kelly Kettle. Going to fry bacon on top of the kettle. I finally got my Grizz Bridge hung and now need to clean up the area around it after I have a BLT and some soup. Sun is shining, going to be a great day

Re: Companion burner for the Woodgaz and Bushbuddy stove
Based on your tests, what is the optimum distance between the stove top and the pot bottom?
Re: Companion burner for the Woodgaz and Bushbuddy stove
One inch is what I have found to be optimum. For a slower burn shorten the height.russb wrote:Based on your tests, what is the optimum distance between the stove top and the pot bottom?
