Nice heavy duty Singer Sewing Machine

My wife brought this machine to my attention yesterday. We seem to think it's a good machine for all purpose sewing needs for the DIY'rs

The machine was looking quite impressive. can it stitch with nylon threads?

Sewing with 1/8" stainless steel woven wire is easy.
