I recently was inspired by this stove and the WIFI stove over at the TitaniumGoat site.
I'll post these photos first and then come back with some copy that describes some howto's of it.
The jbutzi Wood Burning Stove
Re: The jbutzi Wood Burning Stove
The stove is made from 9" x 13" Dollar Store baking sheets, four pieces of 18", 5/16" D threaded rod for legs and tin cans for a flue. Total cost is a little over $15. Weight with everything is 6.5 lbs. I built it at first with a tin can cover but later switched to a sliding flat door. I can describe more of the build if desired. But it is pretty straightforward and can probably be improved upon. I like the fact it can be collapsed to the size of two bake sheets stacked one over the other with everything else inside and 'clean' sides out. I made a couple cotter pins to hold them together.
The threaded rod legs twist into couplers attached to the top panel. It is easy to assemble and disassemble without tools.
