New pack board (new to me)
Re: New pack board (new to me)
Looks like it's in mint condition. Nice find. Is it canvas or 40 denier nylon/polyester?

Very good condition. Canvas. Hope to use it next summer on a "vintage gear only trip".

Hey, that sounds interestingrussb wrote:Very good condition. Canvas. Hope to use it next summer on a "vintage gear only trip".

I still use a vintage aluminum boyscout bail type pot. Holds 2.5 cups and is 5.5" diameter. The bail is a nice feature for pots when used for wood fired nostalgia.

It will be tough to use a period true vehicle to get to the TH. I just noticed we both have cooking tripods as our avatars.
Re: New pack board (new to me)
Tripods are the way to go for base camps. I just recently came up with a way to make bails for Foster pots. I'll post a thread on it towards the end of the week. crazy busy trying to recoup from the Christmas festivities
