My Volcano arrived Sat. and I made some test burns with A starLyte burner and also a Fancee Feest stove inside of it.

The FF was a loser. The StarLyte worked much better after raising it up to within 1" of the bottom of the cup.

The cup holds 2 cups of water with about one inch to spare to the top of the cup. When the boil occurs no spill over.

1/2 ounce of denatured will give me 208 degrees.

17ml of fuel will for sure give me a rapid boil and hold it for a min. or so.

A very robust set. I'm well pleased with my purchase. Ridgerunner informed me they are available for less than what we paid. :o

I don't have one, but I've heard that the "burners" or "Fire cups" burn out pretty quick if You use wood in them.

I still want one though.

Cheers!
