SS Cook pot modifications

Postby Ridgerunner » Wed Aug 13, 2014 10:37 pm

Zelph sent me his lightweight Chinese Stainless Steel cook pot with a snug fitting lid. I made some mods to make pouring and draining easier. Here is what I came up with:

Really worked out nice :D

Did it make the lid fit a little less tight? They are snug to begin with.

Maybe a little less snug but still snug enough to tip and pour without worrying about it plopping right off ;)

Alright!!! that's good, don't have to hold onto the lid :D Very nice modification. Thanks for sharing it. I will mod mine also some day soon. I have an archeological adventure coming up in Sept. Will be traveling light and cooking light ;)
