Crimped Windscreen

What is the reason for crimping the windscreen? Or, what is the advantages of crimping the windscreen

It's easy to roll up and keep nice and tidy. adds tons of strength to a sheet of aluminum. Looks cool 8-)

Hikers fold a lot of their windscreens. Over time, the folding and unfolding will wear out the aluminum windscreen. With the EZ-fold windscreen, there is no need to crease it as it rolls around your pot for storage or you can fold it on existing creases. ;)
