Question for both entries:

Are they really burned in good now and how is the drafting on both? How may burns per stove? Got to know before I vote.

Also, did you get a boil on 2 cups of water?

I just burned it the one time..but kept it going for a couple hours, held a fire with large wood okay.I don't have any "overall burn" times with a full stove.I can take a 4-5" log(X15" or so) and quarter it(burn at least 3 quarters at once),should keep going fine by what I shoved in there...took about 20 minutes to boil water(I think it was about 16 oz) because the "cookshelf" is above the actual stove.
I need to revamp the door handle.it was made to have two positions, one tightly closed and the second for leaving it ajar for firing up the stove with the door about 1" open at the top.The radius of the swing of the door makes it complicated to make it latch easy unless the radius of the latch matches the swing radius(huh? ).I'm going to probably eliminate the partially open position because the stove draws fine without it through the fully open vent holes..or just drop the door. The partial postion catches any hot sparks is all and allows a hotter burn for startup.I might try to make it work  .The top latch will consist of a single bolt there that the lever will lock onto..and a shorter, easier catching lever over the stove.
Other than that,I don't plan to make any changes to it.
I do plan to make a similar one with a slightly larger firebox.

I'm glad you came to a decision I can live with. Too close to call.

I even considered the extras. RR got to drink some Beer and RG can scrub an extra toilet. Still a tie imo.

Two different styles and both successes! I split my vote 50/50.

Yes, I'd like to see 2 cups of water boiled on them. I voted for RR because of his being able to have the pot directly on the stove top. More likely to get a boil fAST.
