The March inductee is Oops56. His TCS was chosen as favorite for the month.

Congratulations Oops56

This is his third time being voted as best stove. Nice going oops!!!!

This is a tomato juice can stove. I got me right and left mix up.The left stove a little weak on flame but did the job so make new 1/8 shorter should be better. The water temp. was 62F the left one 3/4 oz. fuel boil 5 min. burn time 6-1/2 min. The right one 1/2 oz. fuel boil 3min. 10 sec. min. burn 4 min. The time be off a little cause i put pots on then lit prime wick but on do not start timer tell prime burnt off so its close one total burn of fuel

DarenN is Stove Of The Month winner for the month of April

Congratualations DarenN

the Wick-ed Stove.

this isn't a small stove (2 3/4" round x 1" tall) so it's not all that efficient. 1oz M/H boils 2c in 6 minutes. flame out about 12 minutes. i think the versatility of the different tops is nice for cooking, rather than just boiling water.

this stove has been field tested.
over a four day trip i used 60ml of fuel per day. this includes one day where it had to burn for about half an hour to boil crabs.
it works well.

much thanks has to go to Ridgerunner for inspiration.

The winner for the month of June is "Ridgerunner"

His Microlyte Stove was chosen as favorite:

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

The Microlyte is a hybrid of the famous Starlyte. It is smaller and lighter and holds a lttle less than 3/4 ounce of fuel. The cover insulation came from a furnace in Stumpjumper's garage and it came in a flat sheet, maybe 3/16" thick. The simmer ring works extremely well but you'll need pliers, a glove, or a stick to remove it as it gets hot. The burner will boil two cups of water in a little over eight minutes using 1/2 ounce of denatured alcohol, 63 degree water, and in Momma's 75 degree kitchen. ;) . The tin is the same thickness as the wedding favor tin and is 1 1/2" diameter, making it one of the smallest two cup boiler.
