A tea diffuser stove

Has a prime pan holds 1/2 first one water 16 oz. at 70F 3 min. burn got to 186F not to good the half oz. ran out of the bottom holes.Next try plug first two rows now got a little better 7 min burn 182f.Last try put in some more wick from the top had some like hair fill up to the next row of holes got 8 min burn water 182. So make one more next time put 4 wicks up right.
The pictures first shows parts the wick is 3/8 round wood stove wick fiber glass.
next pic. its ready to put together.

last pic. show it burning this is the first try i did not get a burn picture after the new change

Can the burner be lit without the primer pan?

What do you use as the pot stand?

What kind of fiberglass is that?
