JulyEntry---Ridgerunner

Postby Ridgerunner » Fri Jul 25, 2008 3:48 pm

This puppy has been in the back of my mind for a year but I have never found the right tin in my travels thru the thrift stores. Recently, I came upon a cannister tin set and was able to scavage parts and pieces to come up with my UL- 2Burner. I just wanted to get the following pics uploaded while i had time and will do a burn test this weekend and hopefully have a video to post. ;)

Planned on going with a heavier rack once i get to the store. Have a nice little grill rack but it fits perfectly in my Coleman oven as an extra shelf. If I cant find something around here, it's off to the dollar store or thrift store. ;)

Thanks Tony. Unfortunately, I do not own a digital scale yet(on my list of things to look for) I have a small kitchen scale that goes to 5 lbs. I don't know how accurate it is but it weighs the stove at about 6 ounces. I have added a heavy duty pot support as suggested by Oops. Still have my eye out for the "perfect" lightweight tin. :D
