Here is the link to the Cyberweld Tillman Welding Blanket. They do have a $25.00 minimum. The 3'x3' is $22.95 so you will need to add a trinket of some kind to meet the minimum order. Free Shipping to anywhere in the continental US. I just made a dress for my Kelly Kettle out of this product. I've never seen so called "carbon" felt in real life but from what I understand, this is the same stuff with out the "carbon felt" markup.

Or you can go to any boiler werks and ask for "fire tape". Its whats used to seal up firebox doors on steam engines.

I have seen it at Lowes in the plumbing section. It was used while soldering copper tubing. With the demise of soldered joints, it may or may not be available.

I dunno I just soldered a bunch of joints on my sprinkler system in the spring.

I've seen some carbon felt on fleabay going for ~13usd or so shipped for a 24x19x1/4" blanket. I built my fancee feest one using the expensive stuff i bought from the home depot plumbing department.
