Tjhat reminds me..got a couple pair of Vasque trail running shoes going out to a friend in Monticello in size 15( ) today..close to you?He can't seem to find anything in his size around there for cheap..so i grabbed him a couple pairs. They did(do?) have another pair of higher top Goretex Vasque size 15 pretty much brand new...but he couldn't wear them becaue of some past ankle injury(bone rubs)...They also had a pair of 16 Columbias I was thinking of getting and making a pontoon boat out of those...

Maybe lightweight backpacking trailrunners in size 15, or size 16, worn with a velcro ankle wrap sold at rehab hospital stores...
