thats a tough question. it would all depend on where and when. for me on a 5 day trip where i like to go i would take about 11lbs total and bring some back. but thats also only hiking 5 to 8 miles a day and stopping to do some fishing for a few hours here and there. eat what you catch!

2 pounds per day. Maybe 3, depends on the terrain.
