Hello folks, I knew there had to be a great stove forum out there somewhere but I didn't look hard the first time. Ran into one of Zelph's videos and he mentioned the forum and here I am. I'm looking to build a simple burner to take the place of a wicked lamp used for various craft work. I guess I'll post my question in the 'stove ideas' forum? Have to make sure I know the rules first so off to read...

Hello Serifino....we will do our best to help you out in any way we can. we love tinkering with new stove ideas. My latest is a large 3 ounce capacity burner built along the same lines as the Starlyte.

Hope we can help you out and you do the same for us :D We are always interested in new ideas.

I've been involved in a few other online hiking communities for a while (reddit, whiteblaze, the other BPL) and just found out about this site today. Glad to be here. :)

Glad you found us. We've been really quiet and laid back since the do-it-yourselfers have dwindled. No activity for a great while. There is a lot of accumulated information here related to stove building and use. It's fun to read over the old threads and learn from our mistakes and successes. Have fun reading through the threads.

Glad to have you here :-)
