My wife and I had to be on duty this week tending the gatehouse. we did have Cajun Style turkey breast and most of the trimmings. Had leftovers today :hungry:

We have a handful of hunters staying in the campground this week...deer and duck hunters.

A few days ago I started hunting with a game camera. So far 2 campground cats, 5 deer(1buck). Last night I tried calling in a grey fox with electronics. didn't succeed :(

Lot of deer hunters come into the campground to set up their base camps. One family of hunters got 2 deer hunting the islands located in the Tombigbee river. The islands are huge, 100 acres some of them. They have boats with blinds attached for hunting ducks also.

It's been so warm down here the armadillos came out of hibernation last night :D
