Mowich lake 11 days after the lake thawed out. It's at 4000' and the water clarity was beyond words.

Rain, way too much rain and overcast. The above pics are those very rare days that I was off work and had some sunshine.
Even a bad day on the mountain is better than a good day at the office.

Right now my "slice of heaven" is 38 deg and raining. I have not seen the mountain in the last five days. It may be this weekend before I can see it and that is because a dry cold front is sliding down from Canada. Those Canadians need to keep that arctic air up there where it belongs. :lol:

yeah..we get too many people that wanna move here from Illinois and wanna shop in our thrift stores. :evil: :lol:
That and the big bottles of Moss-kill we have to apply between our toes each spring.. :mrgreen:

Half of Seattle's countryside is lit up with phosphorescence moss because of so much moisture.
