Good point HOZ. I read that toilete paper rosettes were a big problem to trail maintenance personnel at one area along the Appalation Trail. Not burying their waste, just letting it sit there with a tp rosette on top of it making it look like a little presenthoz wrote:One problem I'm concerned about is all the people now hiking and camping. Even though we have similar stories about Giardia here in OZ I have never treated water in the bush and I have never been infected but I am careful, I always source water upstream from a campsite or hut especially if it does not have a pit toilet.
