Flea Market find, and some junk

Postby steamjam » Fri Oct 18, 2013 6:56 pm

Bought meself a Coleman Apex II for $15. Came with an extra fuel bottle and both were full of fuel. The pump works fine but it needs a needle valve O-ring.. I also bought a clunker 425F for $10.00. I don't know why I bought the F. I already have a 425E. I guess it was an impulse buy isle purchase? (haha im dumb.. flea markets ARE huge gigantic impulse buy isles!)

A quick search says they cost 70.00 new so you got a good deal. It looks like it's made with light gauge material, don't step on it :P

We all need more than one stove

Yeah I am not sure how I feel about the stove. It's feels fragile as if I were to ever even fart in its general direction, the stove would crush like a soda can under a cinder block.

Put it on a shelf and admire it for a length of time then put it in a drawer for a few months and then take it out and fire it up and boil some water for a Mountain House luncheon meal. Fire it up before you put it on a shelf to see how well it burns. :D
