Midwestern Surplus

Postby Ridgerunner » Tue Dec 21, 2010 6:04 pm

We havethis old PILLSBURY FACTORY warehouse AROUND THE CORNER FROM WORK THAT is a surplus outlet for an online catalog company. Most stuff is scratch and dent and the guy who runs the place will wheel and deal. Yesterday I dug two boxes out of the trash box and offered the guy a buck apiece for the sticks. Granted, they are not Leki and are non adjustable with no shocks but work a dollar , I think   http://www.hammacher.com/Product/77776?promo=Personal-Care-Exercise&catid=20 Unfortunately, I passed on a set of binoculars for $10 which means $5  There were two pair and one was busted but the othe pair were intact but were super stiff trying to adjust.http://www.hammacher.com/Product/78069?promo=Sports-Leisure&catid=52 After looking them up online, I thought maybe a good lubrication might make a differance so I went back today but they were gone so I settled on a birdbath for $3
