Salmon Alfredo - Trail Cooking On The Olympic Coast

Postby sarbar » Thu May 08, 2008 12:11 am

Hey you all, I might be the FBC Queen but I have been known to crack a pan set out once in awhile. We are starting to shoot videos for our soon to be here site, trailcooking.com (which currently feeds into freezerbagcooking.com) as well as shooting more FBC videos on cooking.

So anyways, go watch :D If it doesn't make you hungry, I can't help you:p Oh yeah, and I am actually on camera this time - not just my waving hands.

Yah, right!!!!! How could it NOT make you hungry :D Very well done "sarbar" Nice atmosphere with the ocean in the background, good choice for your camp cooking.

Time for brunch

edited to add text: Do you have anything in your bag of mixed seasoning that comes close to the flavor of gyros. Our newest member to sign in name is "GiroToGo". When I saw the name it made think of my favorite "sandwhich to get when in Chicago". I love the flavor(grease) I'd love to be able to have a seasoning blend that tastes similar to gyros.

Welcome "GiroToGo" :)

Hey Zelph...I bet a person could make some tasty gyros over a fire with foil cooking. You got me thinking...let me see what I can drum up for seasoning! I have never made them at home, but do I ever love eating them on the go! (With about 20 napkins!)

Excellent! A new hiking-related video blog to subscribe to! Looks good so far, Sarah. I did make a note on the Youtube page however that you will want to increase the size of the text that you were using in the sidebar of the video as it was hard to read.

Sam, the next video should be out tonight. The husband is doing better titling on this one. It is a learning experience I can tell you! He is learning Final Cut software as we are shooting the videos.
Btw, I also have videos up under our freezerbagcooking channel on Youtube as well. But nowhere as nice though!

Sarah,
Kalaloch is one of my favorite beachs. That salmon alfredo would sure hit the spot after a cool damp day of activity on the beach.
Thanks.
