I saw those in the new catalog I received a couple days ago. I wonder if they are thicker than the eggpods? Do you have a set on order? Inquiring minds want to know! Did you get your Featherlite stove yet? I wonder if Oops has one, if not two of those :?:

Not going to get the squishies :D got enough poachers :D

Featherlite not arrived yet.

If oops has one he would have shown it by now :)

Have you seen this baking set from Packit Gourmet? It seems like it would work well with eggs too.

If you’re up for trying out powdered eggs they have some of those too:

The steamer disc looks interesting. Could be a dual purpose Pot Grabber/pickerupper. It could supply a few washers punched out in strategic places.

I like powdered eggs. I'll have to look and see if I can find my supply. Last I remember I have a #10 can of them. Maybe some smaller containers.

I'm getting ready to go camping and am starting to gather dried product to make up some meal packets.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the packitgourmet site. Welcome to bplite :D

Flour and eggs mixed sounds easy. Cutting into barley sized pieces sounds difficult :o

i'm thinking a rotary pizza cutter might just be the tool for the job.

The recipe for the barley pasta also recommends using a cheese grater to make the pasta. Definitely would make a great shape to hold any sauce, or broth.

maybe you could do it like spaetzel, in a food mill or mashed potato press.

The cheese grater seems like the best way if the dough was almost frozen first and then try to grate it. Have lots of flour dusted on it and around where it falls to keep those little pieces separate.
