I have complete 6 grates made of stainless screen with 1/4" holes punched into them for good air circulation. My yard sale went well today. One more day and I can take a break and do some twig burning. I purchased a small tripod for my video recorder so I'm ready to do a video or two. Weather on Monday is suppose to be delightful.

Well things don't always go the way we want them to

There wasn't enough support under the sheet of .005 stainless :o

Next video will be better :D The quality of wood was not the best. I used telephone book paper as tinder. Dual purpose can also be used as toilet paper :o After all, pages from the Sears catalogs were used in old time outhouses

The base plate sitting on the wire grill surface is a little wobbly. It may not have tipped if it were on a steady level surface. Nice fire!

Yeah, that was culprit. Fire was going well, plenty of room to feed twigs between pot and stove body. I may form a stainless hardware cloth cylinder to stack twigs vertical while the cylinder is held in the hand. Options :D

Now this evening it's raining so another test is postponed. :(
