Re: Ridge line pots
Looks like he is putting ridges in IMUSA cups and pressing a pour spout on the lip...ingenious

Re: Ridge line pots
It seems that he is squeezing the pots from the outside in. Strange. Those IMUSA pots are pretty strong already. I havent looked at that website in years. I will never get those 3 minutes back

Re: Ridge line pots
I'm sure he realized the pots are a little fragile in the larger size (4cup) Ridges.....great idea!
I have one that came with a Trail Designs cone...got it used on a forum. Got it to do some testing using the Fancee Feest stove under the pot inside the cone. Not enough time in a day
It didn't take long for Trail Designs to start putting ridges on their beer can pots.....great idea
I have not looked at tinny's site in 2 years

I really don't think any serious hikers or outdoorsman order his stuff! Wonder how many fires have been started with his stuff?
Re: Ridge line pots
At one time I had enough parts gathered to make about 2 dozen remote feed stoves but couldn't get myself to put out a product that I myself would use. The thought of having fuel left in the hose and in the carbon felt once the water is heated and the stove blown out. Put that smelling stove and hose in your pack....yukk!!!
