oops56, I figured if I haven't used it in 2yrs, It's fair game in the name of stove science. I'll probably need it tomorrow, just watch!

When I get the chance I will be sure to add the 1/2" holes(now where did I put that Unibit?) Zelph, you're right, it's got to help.

Yes, I eat chicken. :dinner: At times I have raised my own meat birds. Nothing like a home grown bird. If some of my culls are the right age/size they go to freezer camp. Mean roosters go into the stew pot with some dumplings, talk about good eatin'. With this latest strain that I have 99% of the meanness has been bred out. So slim pickins' with these guys.

Thanks for fixing the video...nice!

A few years ago my son-in-law came over with 3 free range chickens fresh killed and we prepared them for dinner. They were the most earthy tasting meat I had ever eaten. Yuk! they must have been feeding on some strange insects, maybe lots of stink bugs  Maybe walked along the roads and ate road kill possum that was a few weeks old

When I was a wee lad, I'd catch a 1/2 dozen carp and give them to my mothers aunt so she could boil them whole and feed them to her chickens. They even ate most of the scales. :o
