The end of an era Venom Bottles

Post by zelph » Mon Aug 27, 2012 11:13 pm

Sad but true. The thick aluminum Energy Drink "Venom" bottles are being phased out to be replaced by the light gauge pop can aluminum. :(

I think too many people were buying cases of them and pouring them down their driveway..just for the cans. Cheaper, thinner cans means more profit and they can still sell the same product inside.

I never shoulda showed that video  Good thing I saw this phase-out coming and purchased a few extra.

Prices on the Venom Super Stoves will remain stable until the bottles are completely off the store shelves locally. Not many stores have some left. The diet variety is what seems to be remaining.

Anyone know of a drink that comes in the Venom size bottle. Beer bottles maybe?

Wow, it looks like you pay a little extra to have it covered in a camo design. Always sponging a few extra bucks off us hunters

Actually, around here (NWGA) they're some of the less expensive ones. I've not paid more than $2.50 for one.

I've had this bottle for a couple of years. Sent to me from Kansas city, Kansas. He sent 6, I converted 2 into stoves for him. The wheat beer bottle is shorter than the venom bottle.

Cool! I'm sure there are plenty of the thicker bottles out there but they may be in more isolated marketing areas . I would bet that another beverage will eventually turn up nationally in the thicker aluminum bottle.
