Some ideas here in the design of this charcoal grille are adaptable to wood stoves = clam shell and leg foldouts

That first video is making me hungry. Thats a full cookouts worth of food there
I like the grille too. My prospective tent stove body is virtually identical in size and shape. Like the way the legs fold out and lock

That's what I was thinking. Maybe a carry bag would help. Also flipping it from chimney starter mode to grill mode spilled some hot ash.

I would think you'd have to carry something else that would be fireproof to carry the ashes in unless you had a firepit to dump them into.if I had a firepit,I'd just pack a grill! Some people's logic escapes me...
Yeah it looks cool but...
My two houses have big green eggs(kamado)..I don't carry for a bar-b-que...well..my other house has a lil' green egg for 2..but I have 2 and a 1/2 large ones here(the 1/2er is a long story the wife won't let me forget.. )...
We pack webers or use the pits..

Maybe NASA will sell off some shuttle tiles now that they don't need em. Could use those to make a very lightweight green egg :)
