Okay..have you done any testing..I was wondering if maybe they had been making some lead bullets with a ladle..DUAL PURPOSE!Make the lead bullets/balls..then pull them out later with the knife.. ;)

No.....I don't have one of these. Just photos aka poor mans stove :lol: a few years ago I was in a Cical War Museum in Virginia. No photos were allowed to be taken :( In a kiosk display they had a tin soldiers pocket stove that looked like the one in this thread.

On further thinking, the circular center piece may come out and is placed into the other half of the stove. I'm pondering :geek:
