All very good answers, close but that only counts in horseshoes :lol:

It's placed on your knee and is used for holding nuts while you smash them with oops56 style hammer. Don't matter if you have a bad aim, plenty protection :mrgreen:

The other house is high on a hill..probably 200-300' of elevation along the Straits of Juan De Fuca and 3/4 of a mile inland..so is this one,but this body of water here is Puget Sound.Keep in mind that the other house is also 50 miles or so inland on the straits from the actual ocean.
I don't think I've ever lived too far from salt water..maybe the farthest was Hawthorne,CA..probably the same 200-300' above sea level,but a whole 3-5 miles inland. :roll:
