my sister is a piano technician.
i emailed this thread to her.
she is familiar with the tool shown, but admits that she would never use one. she deals with high-end customers and their pianos. that tool, she says, is at best, a stop-gap measure, to fix a piano that really needs new hammers.


Maybe it was part of a traveling show that had to make due on the road. Now we have another mystery.

maybe he can also use the tool to get money(or blood) from people that don't wanna pay after the guy has fixed their piano... :o
