i hope you are joking but in case you aren't,,,,,,

a dove-tail is a carpentry/cabinetmakeing corner joint. most often seen on drawers and boxes/chests.

HA! i figure you had to be joking, but one never knows. it happenned long ago that i had to take a drawer out of a dresser to show a guy what a dove-tail was. he had spent his entire carreer behind a desk, working with numbers, and had no other interests.

here's one for you:

what does the term "swallow-tail" refer to?
