the Optimus Nova is a sweet stove! the quietest, and most fuel efficient white gas stove i've found. heavey and bulky though.
the honey stove is a well thought out design of a burner holder and potstand that can double as a place to build a fire that can also heat your food. i'm NOT bashing it because i sell a wood burner. in fact, i'm not bashing it at all. if i had access to laser cutting equipment or CNC turret punching i'd probably build one similar, HOWEVER, i think that for a wood burning STOVE to be more than just a place to build a fire, more thought must go into the way fire and combustion air interact.

I agree Daren, woodgas is the way to go with these little cookers. To me the Honey stove is a compromise, not an efficient stove like a Trangia 25 or 27 and too small a woodburner to be anything more than a brew maker/noodle cooker. I eat real food when out and about which is why I stick to an open fire or a liquid fuel stove.

Re: the honey stove
I agree. the Honey looks too small. Way over priced also.too small a woodburner to be anything more than a brew maker/noodle cooker.
