People do the strangest things. Saw on tv where a group of boats were tied off to the short tidal trees way back in small 15 foot wide water ways away from the coast but nothing was said about sinking them. I've been involved in a few other online hiking communities for a while (reddit, whiteblaze, the other BPL) and just found out about this site today. Glad to be here. :) Glad you found us. We've been really quiet and laid back since the do-it-yourselfers have dwindled. No activity for a great while...

Let's hope he got outa dodge befor the winds blew down there In florida. I read on another forum that someone deliberately sunk his boat to protect it from the storm wind and water.

That stove in the second video is built bassakwards :mrgreen: First time for everything :o He sure does use some beefy material. For melting slow a mega Starlyte aka Companion burner is better. In the summer months I can boil one gallon of water with a Fancee Feest.
