Re: a hypothetical question.............................

It seems to me that once a design is posted on the internet, its public domain and pretty much fair game and can be copied by anyone (and that makes me a little hesitant to post new ideas on forums etc) :D When you have to sign up to participate in a forum "not open for public viewing" one could ex...

Re: New Reactor Alcohol Stove

I'd even go as far as saying the viscosity of the flame along with the non laminar flow :flame being attached to side wall of burner continuously" aids in rapid fuel flow and consumption, transferring to extreme high temperature range for fast boil times. The flames on my fast boil time stoves look ...

Screen bottomed out in can leaves about 1/4- 3/8 '' of screen above lip of can. 30ml EBT 4-min boiled 2 cups of w...

Re: SuperCat Afterburner

Your video shows a massive amount of flame extending to the rim of the pot/mug. Thats a lot of energy up into the air and not being used for the water. Fast but inefficient boils???? What is your opinion. I would speculate you can do the 6 cups with the same amount of fuel by using the proper size ...

Re: SuperCat Afterburner

The chimney effect comes into play and also the smaller inside diameter narrows down the passage way and increases velocity. Thus, we hear our WaRp dRiVe in motion :D with the amount of fuel used you should be able to boil 6 cups with out a problem. Do you have a 6 cup aluminum pot you can try? Wha...
