Huh...I have no idea what that model is. I want a magnifying glass on mine too. ;) I think I will eventually get and "explorer" model. I havent taken my victorinox on any trails...because I just got it about 2 weeks ago lol. So far, I'm loving it. I think I'm going to pack it along with my mora next...

But the upside of the original design is the fuel storage...and the jet version needs the cap to be closed to build positive pressure...

I didn't have enough fuel to fill it up and do a proper test. I'm thinking about making another one with the lid on the reverse side....I think it's a better design, the lid might seal even better. I did a "smell test" around the edge (I'm a real scientist :lol: ) And I couldn't smell any fumes esca...

Thanks a lot. I need to get a base burn before I go tinkering...and I have 3 stoves to try out. (4 if you count the cap tea light ;) ) And...I'm out of fuel. :lol: Potsand... If I were a perfectionist, which I am not, I would ultimately try and mount some sort of folding pot stand on it. Three feet ...

Haha...my head just exploded. :lol: I hadn't thought of adding a container in the middle...I'm confused though, Besides being wobbly (not sure how or if I can fix that :? ) What is the problem with how it operates now? Say, use a pot stand to bring a boil, then place the pot on the lid for a simmer....
