Re: Price of Heet

Now we know. I probably have a dozen 4-pks and also noticed some were very low on contents. I also stored them in the garage. I might “ condense” bottles and move them to the workshop where I just connected a portable oil heater to a Thermo-cube T3 35-45 thermostatic outlet.

Re: Miss Oops56(RJBURG)! One of the GREATS!

What a great character. He sent me some hard to find stove parts and would not take anything for them. I wish I could have got him to sell me one of his Borde Bombs but We always had a good banter with Robert. RIP ol friend!

It is a Eureka Timberline 2, I believe. The pole configuration is slightly different than yours.

Re: $8.00 Goodwill Find

When I made the rainfly to my Speers DIY hammock kit, I had one long center seam to seal. I used a solution of silicone mixed with mineral spirits and brushed it on the seam. It has lasted a good ten years or longer.

Ah yes, HikinJims blog on the Borde Bomb :D Jim has a nice little collection of stoves and I always enjoy his research on them.

Nice find furry-daddy. I have several like yours but I believe mine are all Eurekas. Spray it down good and get it ready for spring ;)
