Re: Price of Heet
Today (10 Jam 19) at 1600 the UPS driver rang the doorbell and left a package that contained a brand new 4-pack of Heet. This is the kind of customer service that will keep steady customers. Thanks Gold Eagle!

Re: Price of Heet
The guy I talked to was a manager and seemed to know what he was talking about. He told me that the plastic bottle would expand and contract a small bit during temperature changes. This would affect the seal between the bottle and the aluminum foil seal. The small gap created is too small to see, bu...

Re: Price of Heet
Follow up on the empty Heet bottles. I called the Gold Eagle company in Illinois. They are the ones who sell Heet. I explained to the operator what my problem was, she transferred me to a different department, after waiting for a while I talked to an automated voice and left a message. I figured tha...

Re: Price of Heet
This is an update fro my post of 5 years ago. The four pack of Heet that I purchased in 2013 has sat on a shelf in my garage for these 5 years. It was part of my just-in-case kit for power outages. Out of curiosity I checked the contents of this kit and got a surprise. All four bottles were still fa...

Re: Where to buy hardwarecloth
Not sure if you are still looking for a place to buy hardware cloth, but our local hardware store has it. It is not expensive, and they have a few different sizes. Lowes also carries it. Hope that this helps.

Re: Things that nest and lids that fit
This is a fun thread. It is interesting to see what fits and what doesn't. It is also fun to see how ingenious some people are about trying different ideas and checking parts to fit their kits. Thanks for posting it.

Re: Try this one.
We aren't going to get away with calling it a special watchmaker tool. The hard ones are more fun. When I do figure one out, I can pat myself on the back and tell myself how clever I am. But it would be nice to get one right once in a while!

Re: Try this one.
They got another one. This one is hard. I guessed a tool to cut the kernels off a cob of corn, and I am wrong. Good Luck!
